I found out about an Area Ace recently that happened earlier in August and one a little later after that. Here they are:
— On Aug. 4, Brian Marshall had quite the day while playing The Links at Gettysburg.
Mr. Marshall entertained partners Gary Dennis, Kirk Keach and Mike Timmons by scoring a hole-in-one on the 155-yard, par-3 12th hole. He used his 8-iron to pull it off.
— Jodi Reitzel was able to card a ’1′ on Aug. 26 while playing at South Hills Golf Club.
Reitzel used her 9-wood to ace the 95-yard, par-3 3rd hole on the West course. Playing in her group that day were Jerry Mould, Bruce Astrin and Ed Reitzel.
